Ferdinand le Feubure (Le Feubure)
1815 – Munich – 1898

German painter and draughtsman

Ferdinand le Feubure was the son of J.B. Le Feubure, a royal servant in Munich. His elder brother Karl Friedrich le Feubure (1805-1885) was a painter at the royal porcelain manufacture in Munich.  From 1823 Ferdinand le Feubure studied at the academy of arts in Munich under Heinrich Maria von Hess (1798-1863).

Then he worked as a painter at the royal porcelain manufacture in Munich, which was closed when King Ludwig I of Bavaria resigned in 1848. From this time on Le Feubure worked as an indipendent artist. Still at the age of 83 he worked e.g. for the Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria.
