Dedication (or presentation) of Mary in the temple. She ascends the steps and is received by the high priest.

Red chalk drawing, brown wash, edged with a single red chalk line, on handmade paper with watermark: bird on a trefoil in a circle (similar Piccard No. 153741, Canino 1662 and Piccard No. 153742, Rome 1662). Picture size 28:19 cm, paper size 36:24,5 cm.

Verso: Spandrel decoration - sketch with a mythological scene. Red chalk drawing, brown wash.

At left margin traces of sewing, which indicates that the drawing was part of a sketchbook.

Sketch for an altar piece; its realization couldn't be  proved till now.
